McPherson Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of EMG (electromyography) to our community. These procedures will be offered and performed by James A. Issac, MD.

EMG services with NCT are offered every 1st and 3rd Wednesday with reports being generated on the same day of service. NCT testing without EMG will be offered on a weekly basis.

McPherson Hospital’s Outpatient Neuroscience Services provide excellent, professional care in our conveniently located health care center, all equipped with state of the art diagnostic capabilities. Digital EEG Testing
This study is a neurological test that uses an electronic monitoring device to measure and record electrical activity in the brain.

Nerve Conduction/EMG Testing

The following information is needed:

1. Order from the primary care physician (diagnosis, procedure)
2. Referrals and any significant paperwork (pre-certification)
3. Ordering physician
4. Interpreting physician (if a physician is not designated, one will be assigned for the interpretation)
5. Type of study
6. Diagnosis
